At a recent Street Fighter Fight Club event in San Francisco, Capcom announced that iPhone users can, with immediate effect, purchase the Street Fighter IV for $10, and hook themselves up to arcade-style battle on the go!
Though the game’s price-tag is apparently “high for the iPhone,” those who have had a ‘hands on’ experience with the game vouch for the fact that it is abundant in the kind of content gamers may readily pay for – new characters, arcade and multiplayer modes, and countless control techniques for different skill levels.
Super Street Fighter IV brings on as many as eight new characters to the Street Fighter IV scene, over and above the entire clan of the earlier 25 Street Fighter characters - including Ryu, Ken, Abel, Crimson Viper, Rufus, and El Fuerte.
As a result of the exciting amalgamation of the new and old characters, the new Street Fighter IV character’s roster now boasts classic warriors from earlier Street Fighter games like T. Hawk, as well as all-new characters like Juri - the mystifying and deadly female combatant; and Hakan – a Turkish oil wrestler, who uses lubricant to help out in battle, and is associated with some insane moves and Ultra combos.
In all, the Street Fighter IV package has a completely new control platform, which needs a bit of getting used to!
