According to Gamasutra, the statistics forwarded by sister iPhone site FingerGaming – which reports the current best-selling iPhone and iPod Touch apps in the iTunes App Store - have revealed that the US iPhone revenue charts for the week have been topped by ‘Street Fighter IV’ from Capcom; followed by a price-reduced ‘Where's Waldo?’ in the second place.
The new App Store top-grossers have overtaken the daily sales rankings’ top slot from ‘Monopoly;’ which has been pushed to the third place; followed by ‘Call of Duty: World at War Zombies’ in the fourth; and ‘Bejeweled 2’ at the fifth slot.
The other games that made it to the most recent ‘Top 10’sales rankings chart on the App Store include ‘Final Fantasy’ in the sixth place; ‘Rock Band’ in the seventh; ‘Plants vs. Zombies’ in the eighth; ‘Tetris’ in the ninth; and ‘Words With Friends’ in the tenth place.
The statistics forwarded by FingerGaming – which considers all the available titles in the App Store’s “Games” category for its chart rankings - are largely based on Apple’s public sales information.
The FingerGaming sales rankings’ chart gives the users a clear glimpse of the apps that are generating the maximum revenues on the App Store on any particular day.
