Body parts found inside a truck at a medical waste company are being identified by A Kansas coroner.
Last week in a truck at Stericycle Co. about seven heads, a torso and several limbs were found.
Medical waste such as operating room debris and syringes are handled by Kansas City, Kan.-based Stericycle. But major body parts are not disposed by the company.
According to a spokesperson of Stericycle the company refused to comment.
Wyandotte County Coroner Alan Hancock said, “The parts were found in a shipment from New Mexico company Bio Care. That company says it didn't ship the parts found in the truck.”
No local crime was committed, the Kansas City, Kan., police said so they were not investigating the matter. Police in Albuquerque, N. M., where the body parts originated also did not show any interest in investigating the matter.
