Claire Murray, 24, from Perth is in a critical condition at a hospital in Singapore following a controversial second liver transplant after her first failed due to drug addiction.
According to reports, Murray is battling death following surgery to remove blood clots near her heart.
Murray developed complications following a ‘live liver’ transplant that was done two weeks ago for which part of her aunt's liver was used.
Murray was in news after she was given $258,000 for a two-year interest-free loan by the Western Australian Government after an earlier taxpayer-funded liver transplant failed due to her heroin addiction.
Murray has two children.
