Jenna Morris, 28, could never have dreamt that she would not be able to see her big day. The bride-to-be died from a blood clot which is thought to have been caused by taking the contraceptive pill.
The bank worker collapsed after deep vein thrombosis developed in her leg and moved to her lungs. Just hours before Jenna had complained of shooting pains in her legs.
Morris, who had been making plans to marry her fiancé Luke Hawson later this year had been taking the Pill for more than ten years.
Her death has questioned the risk of DVT for women who take the Pill over many years. Several women consume the Pill and many of them suffer a blood clot but few will suffer serious side effects also.
Weeks before her death her doctor prescribed a course of antibiotics for kidney stones as she had been signed off work.
But in February, on the day of her death, Jenna had complained of shooting pains in her legs to her mother, Christine, who discovered her body a few hours later.
Her shocked family stated that they could not believe it happened to Jenna.
