It has been reported that prices for the latest 2011 BMW 528i Sedan, has been announced by BMW. The BMW centers will showcase the new 528i in July.
It comes with a price tag of $45,425, including $875 Destination & Handling.
The 528i comprises BMW’s 3.0-liter inline-6 engine with magnesium-aluminum construction and 240 horsepower. It also has BMW’s new 8-speed automatic transmission as standard equipment.
In spite of these developments, the base MSRP is $1,400 lesser than the 528i’s 2010 predecessor.
Jack Pitney, Vice-President of Marketing for BMW of North American, stated, “With the 528i BMW is uniquely positioned to offer a full range of midsized luxury-performance Sedans that, true to the philosophy of EfficentDynamics, offer better performance and improved efficiency than their predecessors at prices that are even more competitive”.
The latest BMW 5 Series comes with an entirely new look, with novel powertrain choices and even more revolutionary technology. Choices and packages for the 528i are same as the 535i Sedan with some exemptions.
The driver assistance systems are offered with the new 5 Series. This includes the latest Parking Assistant, Top View Cameras, and Frontal Collision Warning with application of the brakes when ordered with Active Cruise Control plus Stop & Go.
It is said that the BMW 528i will combine the 535i and 550i in BMW showrooms in the US, in July.
