The reports show that Google has introduced its new Google Buzz. It has been told by the developers that they would be making all its Gmail contacts public and visible.
The government technology leaders of 10 countries were not happy with the violation of privacy. Canada, France, Germany, Ireland, Israel, Italy, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Spain, and the United Kingdom told Eric Schmidt Google's CEO, that they were not pleased with the decision.
According to them this wasn't the first time Google had done something like that and asserted that Google has disabled individual's ability to manage their personal information. They also mentioned that the releasing of the beta version was not a replacement for making sure that the new services obeyed with fair information before they were brought up.
It was seen that around 20% of the world's total gross domestic production was managed by 10 countries. According to the letter, economical conditions would become sore for Google if they kept annoying these nations.
Erica Naone, who wrote an article in MIT's Technology Review, said that most of the holes that gave permission to the researchers to gather information had been closed by Google.
