2 Year-old Reportedly Dies of Seasonal Flu Vaccine

A Sunday Mail report has claimed that a 2 year-old baby in Queensland died this month within 12 hours of receiving a vaccine against the seasonal flu.
It also said that the national health authorities have asked the GPs to end the vaccination of the children below five years of age, against the seasonal flu.
However, Queensland’s Chief Health Officer Dr. Jeannette Young explained that she is absolutely unaware of this infant death due the seasonal flu vaccine. She has also declined to comment further on this issue.
"Until now, neither Queensland Health nor the relevant national body had been advised of, or were aware of any death allegedly related to a 2010 seasonal flu vaccination in Queensland", she stated.
The statement further included her sympathizing words for the family of the child.
The baby named Ashley Jade Epapara died shockingly at home on April 9. The child’s parents Dave and Nicole Epapara said that a couple of tests were being conducted on their baby.
Dr. Young said that the health department is working in association with the Coroner to get into the depth of the matter.
