It has been reported that the organizers of the colossal free mobile health clinic slated to commence on Tuesday will give out the rest of the wristbands for medical appointments, which are approximately 1,200 on Wednesday at 10 a. m.
This was announced after greater that a dozen people flocked to the Los Angeles Sports Arena on Monday to seek appointments. As a result, volunteers and Remote Area Medical, which is the Tennessee-based non-profit organization, gave these people wristbands and scheduled a new time for people to make the rest of the appointments.
It was stated that the no wristbands would be handed out on Tuesday. On Sunday, 5,600 gathered outside the site of the clinic. They stayed out the entire night to collect the wristbands and to obtain a chance for free dental and medical treatment.
The initial plan was to hand out wristbands only on Sunday. However, owing to the large crowd the date has been extended.
The clinic will span over a period of 7 days.
Last August, the mobile clinic that was organized offered 14,000 treatments and served 6,300 people in eight days.
