Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger is fully determined to implement all the stated provision of the new health care reform, though the State is experiencing some budget crisis. He confirms that he is ready to throw all his support for the benefit of the people.
He further said, "As governor of this great state, it is my responsibility to make sure that California prepares to implement this reform right now.”We are ready to roll up our sleeves and work with the federal government to get this done”.
Though the state has reported to have a budget deficit of $20 billion, yet it will try to incur the estimated cost of implementation, which will be between $2 billion and $3 billion, per year. Schwarzenegger has brought in to notice few plans that he would like to implement soon, like getting into a contract with the federal government for the purpose of facilitating a national high-risk pool for people who are not offered coverage.
The new health plan is not without imperfections but still it is being appreciated by many, including Arnold Schwarzenegger. There is a possibility that the State could get approximately $761 million for the high – risk pool.
Kathleen Sebelius, U. S. Health and Human Services Secretary welcomes the support from Schwarzenegger.
