After a small survey it was noted that four out of five Facebook claimed that the site did not offers any privacy whereas, most of the users thought that Facebook was a private space for them.
A survey by a Privacy Commission showed that 57% of the people in New Zealand thought of the social networking sites as the most private spaces whereas, 45% of the users thought in opposite manner.
It was told by Winnie Wong that the people who demanded privacy had some dirty secret and million things to hide.
It was told by some people that the users needed to be careful of what were posting.
Another user Vicki Svebakk said that he was also a member of one these sites and was keeping a continuous check on what his children were post on their pages.
It was explained by Amanda Lio that the teenager could easily dodge their parents and was not easy to keep a check on them.
"LOL at the parent who said they're connected to their children's Facebook page and monitors everything their children do over the internet. No matter how much you want to be in control over your children's internet behaviors, it isn't possible", said Amanda Lio.
