It has been reported that the Judicial Conduct Panel will send an inquiry to the Supreme Court judge Bill Wilson, into his letdown to punctually reveal, owed a sum of six-figure to a lawyer fronting him.
It is said that the action is exceptional and may cause a suggestion for the judge to be dismissed.
According to the noon report, the Judicial Conduct Commissioner, Sir David Gascoigne, suggested to the Attorney-General Chris Finlayson, that a team was appointed to carry out an investigation.
Attorney-General responsibilities will be taken up by Judith Collins with an association to the grievances against Justice Wilson, since he and Mr. Finlayson were cohorts at the law company, Bell Gully.
It has been said that the grievances rose from Justice Wilson's frequent letdown to disclose that he was possibly obliged to Alan Galbraith, QC, when he found in favor of Mr. Galbraith's clients in Saxmere v Wool Board.
Saxmere case was sent back by the Supreme Court to the Court of Appeal for a fresh hearing after finding that.
It has been said that Justice Wilson owed Mr. Galbraith around $602,000. About $242,000 had been contributed by Justice Wilson, which was less than Mr. Galbraith to their firm, Rich Hill Ltd.
