The players of the newly-released online action-adventure Wii game ‘Monster Hunter Tri’ will be able to download calendars for the forthcoming game events onto their mobile handsets and computers, thanks to the community site update by game publisher Capcom.
Since the Wii gaming console maker, Nintendo, offers less-than-adequate online infrastructure, vis-à-vis the PS3 and the Xbox 360, the new update by Capcom will enable Wii players make their own social network and keep pace with the events in their games by checking out the online hubs of their systems.
Already, Capcom has created a strong social site by the way of Monster Hunter Community; and with the new update the publisher has further expanded the ability to keep abreast of the Monster Hunter events to mobile phones. The players can add the site’s constantly-updated calendar of in-game events to Google calendar or their handsets, and get apprised about the same whenever their initiate the Wii’s Wi-Fi connection.
Despite the fact that the Capcom update does not necessarily give the Wii a regularly-updating online hub like the Xbox’s dashboard, it still marks a step forward in terms of improvisations that third parties are adeptly making for the Wii users.
Meanwhile, the ‘Monster Hunter Tri’ Wii game boasts compelling monster and character animations; astounding backdrops; sweeping panoramas; and attractive environments – all of which together result in a remarkably-created unique fantasy world.
