Johnson to face huge trouble on kickback claims

Michael-JohnsonThe federal Liberal MP Michael Johnson's political carrier is in question after he has been accused of trying to receive kickbacks from a coal deal.

The state executive of the Liberal National Party (LNP) has asked him to appear at his home state of Queensland for discussion over this issue. The party may expel Mr. Michel Johnson for such serious allegations. An allegation was published by an Australian news paper.

It has written that he had sought to claim a $12 million commission for brokering a deal between a Chinese company and a coal company from Queensland. Along with this it was also claimed that he had used all of his public office resources and his power illegally in this process. But Mr. Johnson has denied all the allegations saying that he is the victim of a "set up" by his party.

The allegation against the MP Mr. Johnson is just a small fraction of the case as per the party source. Mr. Johnson has been the center of controversy since he started touting for a federal political career.
