Three cars collided at the western side of the Melbourne, killing three people and a newly born baby has been airlifted to the hospital.
As per the police report, a Ford Festiva hatchback travelling north on Tarneit Road of Tarneit, a tip-truck travelling west on Derrimut Road and a Hilux utility travelling east on the Derrimut Road collided.
According to the news sources three of the five people in the Festiva have died at the spot including the 28 year old driver and two passengers. The two passengers were a man and a woman of about 70 year of age. A newly born baby girl of age about six to eight week was sent to the Royal Children's Hospital in a critical condition.
The 28 years old women, front seat passenger was airlifted to The Alfred hospital in a critical condition as well.
The two drivers, one from the utility travelling east and the other from the tip-truck escaped from the injury. The Major Collision Investigation Team is still investigating the major reason of this accident.
