A vital announcement was made by Jetstar, under which it said that 83 percent of its domestic flights arrived on time, in the week that ended August 8.
The 'on-time' performance of flights is calculated by the airline for arrivals within 15 minutes of the scheduled time.
It should be noted that Air New Zealand has given open challenge to its competitors to reduce their on time performance measure further to 10 minutes.
During the month of July, 86% of Air New Zealand's 15,357 flights operated by 68 aircrafts departed within 10 minutes as planned.
