A robber attempting to rob a Calgary woman for the third time was thwarted in his attempts. He had robbed the same woman twice before.
The woman was approached by the robber and threatened at knifepoint. She was forced to drive to a bank to take money from her bank account. The robber aimed to forcibly take the money from her. The woman was afraid of her life and complied with the demands of the robber.
She has been first approached by the robber in December last year. He was successful twice in getting money from the bank. She did not report the matter to the police as she was afraid of the robber.
But this time, the woman told a bank employee and the robber fled away. The police received a call from the Bank of Montreal in Marlborough at 4:30 p. m. on Tuesday. The robber immediately fled from the bank.
Police also made it clear that the woman not in any kind of relationship with the robber. The woman was targeted near her home by the robber. They confirmed that the Police are familiar with the robber.
Police reported that the suspect is Duong Huynh Cao, 43 and he does not have a fixed address. Warrants have been released for his arrest and he is considered armed and dangerous. Police are also urging the general public to call 911 in case they know anything about the robber.
