It has appeared that Rod Taylor will take over as 3D Networks CEO for ANZ. Mr. Taylor, who has more than 25 years experience building sales and business support teams throughout Asia, said that he would mainly be ensuring that customer engagement is done in both a consultative and value-added manner.

Mr. Taylor said: "What is absolutely mandatory for 3D Networks is we get closer to our customer, both pre- and post- sales. He added, "Customers today are asking us to deliver even more strategic value-add to their operations; not just in the value add that's profitable for the provider, but what compliments the customer's true business needs."

Furthermore, Eduardo Piriz will take over the role of National Sales Director ANZ and he will be required to report directly to Taylor. Mr. Piriz will be required to create a passionate national sales team that would deliver end-to-end solutions to meet customers' network requirements.

Mr. Piriz said: "One of my key objectives for customers in the ANZ region is to think globally and act locally. 3D Networks represent a great opportunity for me to execute positive change - to bring the company forward and take it to the next level."

Initially Piriz was at NCR, and he spent the last 12 months building and fostering the company's relationship with Cisco. Prior to that, he had a seven-year stint managing NCR in the Asia-Pacific region, and worked for a decade at Wang Australia.

In addition to these two appointments, Kathyrn Power has also been appointed by 3D Networks as the company's Strategic Solutions Partner Manager. Her job would be to nurture and promote relationships with vendors.

The company's National Professional Services Director will now be Andrew Park, who will lead the business solutions consulting division.
