Apple to officially disclose the details of its next-generation iPhone 4G at WWDC

appleGoing by reports, the June 7-scheduled Apple's Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC), to be held in San Francisco’s Moscone Center, will witness the official disclosure of details of the next-generation iPhone 4G – a device that was infamously ‘leaked’ on the Gizmodo tech blog as well as a Vietnamese site.

In the opinion of an Apple expert, the company is banking heavily on Steve Jobs’ keynote at the WWDC unveiling of the iPhone 4G; so as to highlight the ground-breaking distinction of the handset over Google and its open Android operating system.

Noting that the WWDC will give the public the first chance to hear Apple’s formal breakdown of features, build materials and functionality of the company’s next-generation iPhone, Michael Oh - president of Apple specialist Tech Superpowers - said that the disclosure of the official details of the handset will be the most prominent aspect of Jobs’ keynote address.

In addition, there are also speculations galore that Jobs will also likely use the WWDC platform to announce a Verizon version of the iPhone, despite the fact that the exclusive Apple-AT&T deal for the popular handset holds good through 2012.

Though the rumor-mills have also been abuzz about the possibility of Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer speaking at the Apple event, a recent tweet from Microsoft’s official Twitter account has confirmed that Ballmer will not address the audience attending the conference.
