Devon Funds Management has hired the best of faculty team which includes board members such as Mel Firmin, who was part of Brook earlier at the post of executive director, Chris Gaskin and Slate Robertson who played there role as portfolio managers previously, in fact these are the people who changed the fortune of the company by giving it a turnover of over $1 billion in Australasian equities, by managing funds of the company. The trio (Mel, Chris and Slade) are expected to perform on the given projects and take the company to new heights during the transition period.

The other few big names to join the management of Devon Funds Management are Nick Dravitzki, as a market analyst, Andy Scott along with Brent Impey to lead the board as independent director of the company. Stephen Walker is one among the key staff members of Devon's, Stephen Walker was previously working at AMP Henderson Global Investors, as former head of equities, New Zealand. By appointing such a talented group of faculty, the company claims to have one of the best, experienced and largest investment teams located in New Zealand who are specializing in equities of New Zealand and Australia.

Goldman Sachs JBW Asset Management (NZ) Ltd was acquired by the Devon Funds Group lately in March 2010 and gave it the name of the Brand, Devon Funds Management Limited. The company is expected to have about $40 million under management.
