The Company has finished the first viability study at its flagship Kipoi Project. The study is founded on the remarkably high grade Kipoi Central deposit where drill junctions of 104.5m @ 8.7% Cu, 109m @ 7.6% Cu and 118.6m @
7.0% Cu have been accounted.
Tiger Resources Limited has signed deals to arrange A$21.85 million through a private issue of shares to fund the Kipoi Project Stage 1 Development in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
The Company intends to give 121.4 million shares to institutional customers of Ambrian Partners Limited in the United Kingdom and some present important shareholders at a price of A$0.18 for each share pursuant to the placement.
The company said that it has arranged the funding needed, along with the US$15 million debt donation from Trafigura Beheer B. V., to get the US$30 million Stage 1 copper mining operation at Kipoi into making.
The funding maintains Tiger's aim of "being a copper producer by the end of 2010 on track and provides funding for resource and step out drilling at grassroots copper discovery at the 100% owned Lupoto Project".
