Apple releases iTunes Connect Mobile app for developers

Apple releases iTunes Connect Mobile app for developersApple’s newly released app, iTunes Connect Mobile, will essentially meet the needs of the ‘on the go’ developers who wish to keep track of their sales statistics from time to time.

The new iTunes Connect Mobile app will facilitate the use of iTunes Connect, Apple’s back-end portico for the App Store; thereby making statistics related to sales and trends available on a daily as well as weekly basis, not only for paid and free apps, but also in-app purchases.

Though it is quite strange that Apple has thus far released only one screenshot for its new developers-specific iTunes Store app, there are indications that the app is a fairly well-designed one.

However, another somewhat odd thing about the new ‘free’ iTunes Connect Mobile app is that the app will initially be an iPhone-only app; and, as per the information forwarded by Apple, will necessitate iPhone OS 3.0 version or later.

Since the app will be available on the iPhone only, the owners of the iPad will just have to be contended with the 2x button for scaling up iPhone apps or, may be, consider the option of going in for either an iPhone or iPod touch.
