Direct Capital, a private equity investor, is now a minority shareholder in the Company Bayley Corp. Bayley Corp. is a leading New Zealand real estate Company and it controls the Bayleys chain. This has given a start to the expansion program of Bayley, which aims to develop the span and range of its major functions.
The size of Direct Capital's holding is not exposed by Bayley. Ross George, Managing Director of Direct Capital will be joining the Board of Bayley's. The mainstream interest of the Company will continue to stay with Bayley family ownership, only.
Direct Capital has already made investments with the Companies, known as New Zealand King Salmon, Ryman Healthcare, Ezi Buy, and Max Fashions. Direct Capital invests in these Companies to help them improve and become more significant in their areas. The amount of capital received from Direct Capital's investment will be going for the development of the Companies, which are working under the Bayley Corporation.
Direct Capital is a Company more than a decade old, it was established in 1994. Its three founder Directors still hold the control on it, these three founder Directors are Mr. George, Bill Kermode and Mark Hutton. The funds raised by the Company have a total capital of $ 440 million. This capital is accessible for investment.
