According to recent report, North Asian steel mills in Western Australia have given letters of intent to Murchison Metals Ltd. in order to buy more than 50 million tons, each year from Jack Hills expansion project. These letters are non- binding.
Murchinson revealed that Crosslands Resources Ltd. had received the letters. The letters were based on the proposed goods of hematite and magnetite, from Jack Hills. Crosslands Resources Ltd. belongs to Murchison and Mitsubishi Development Pvt. Ltd. Both own 50/50 shares of the Company.
Paul Kopejtka, Executive Chairman of Murchison, disclosed that the letters of intent pointed towards the demand of goods intended to be manufactured by Jack Hills.
He further added that the expansion of Jack hills project will be of worldwide importance, as it will have a preferred blend of products.
Kopejtka said that Crosslands product will be distinguished from the other products, as there is less alumina and phosphorus in Jack Hills’ products. He also disclosed that the Company is delighted due to the confirmation of the project, as there is a great demand from the likely consumers.
The balance between Jack Hills and the intended opening of Oakajee Port and Rail project seems to appeal the investors. Murchison has a 50% share in the project.
