A Glance at the Relation Shared by Australia with US

Kevin Rudd-Barack ObamaThe US media was hardly concerned about its President, Barack Obama's visit to Australia and his meeting with Kevin Rudd, even though, Australia's media is flooded with this news. This is perceived to be a major reason for Obama, to now postpone his next visit to Australia.

The latest news carried by Los Angeles Times website was about Australia in regard to the tax put up on the mining industry and the fear of cancellation of projects of Xstrata. It is not that US dislikes Australia, in fact it is evident that the country likes Australia, which is evident from the popularity of the movie stars and accent of Australia, loved by Americans and that Australia is also a preferred holiday spot.

In addition to this, the Dow Chemicals, Scripps and fast-food colossal Taco Bell, are also some of the US enterprises that are being run by a dominant assembly of Australians. But the issue that is faced, seems to be that as Australia habitats on a continent too far off, is something that tangles the Americans.

But for Australia, it is evident that, despite of being a more reliable country for US, than France or Germany at the time of war, or also being one of the most fascinating places on earth; it has a minute density of population and is thereby, not that influential for the Americans.
