Doctors across the nation are using men's health week as a platform to urge Australian men to give away the careless attitude towards their health and start focusing on better care of their bodies.
The campaign is slated to initiate on Monday.
The Australian Medical Association posts that the weeklong campaign is cited to serve as an opportunity to get the message out that men should get rid of their sense of complacency that they hold towards their bodies and health.
Last month, Labor unleashed the first ever national male health policy, committing $16.7 million to projects which focus to assist men stay in proper shape.
"Men often experience poorer health outcomes than women, and have a higher probability of dying at a younger age", association Vice-President Steve Hambleton posted in a statement.
