It has been reportedly said that the Tiger Airways added more services to Sydney, Mackay, Alice Springs, and Rockhampton. This addition will be from its newest base at Melbourne's Avalon Airport. The services will be made available by November, stated the reports.

Earlier also, the low cost carrier had declared that the flights will be introduced to the Gold Coast, Perth and Adelaide.

Crawford Rix, the Managing Director at Tiger Airways, said that launch of new services is good news.

He added that with the Tiger Airways novel "Low Fare Revolution" has decreased the costs of transport. The airlines, he said, has promised to offer the lowest airfares for domestic travel in Australia.

Rix also shared that the recently opened base in Avalon, having seven new routes, is getting a note worthy customer response.

It has been stated by the airlines that more and more people are traveling with them every day and that Airways has lengthened its routes form Avalon to Gold Coast route.

The tickets for the new Avalon routes to Sydney, Rockhampton, Mackay and Alice Springs are available from now, confirmed the airlines.

Reports claim that Tiger Airways plans to put forth its objections of the Virgin Blue's joint endeavor with Air New Zealand regarding the trans-Tasman route, to the regulation authorities. The airline is supported by Singapore Airlines in the matter.
