After having shown a trailer of ‘Medal of Honor’, during the course of its media briefing at the E3 event, well-known game publisher Electronics Arts (EA) has announced that the public beta of the game will kick off on June 21. The game will be available on all three systems - PC, PS3, and Xbox 360.
The release of the game’s public beta will allow avid gamers desirous of taking a go at Medal of Honor’s online multiplayer mode – which is being handled by EA’s DICE studio, while the game’s story is being handled by the company’s Los Angeles studio - can sign up on the official site.
However, some lucky players - who are a Battlefield Bad Company 2 VIP, and have pre-ordered Medal of Honor - may be able to start playing the game from this Thursday, June 17.
Reportedly, the Medal of Honor multiplayer beta will feature two modes – Team Assault mode and Combat mission - set across two maps based on real world locations: Helmand Valley and Kabul City Ruins. Both the modes have two teams of 12 players apiece, pitted against each other; and will boast realistic destruction, strategic support actions, and a weapon customization system.
While the Team Assault mode will have players relying on their raw skill and map knowledge for surviving in intense and close quarter combat; the tactical Combat Mission will have gamers fighting through a series of objectives disclosed via an engaging storyline.
