Brain tumor is most likely to occur in constant mobile users- new studyExperts in Britain reveal that brain tumor is most likely to occur in constant mobile users.

A new study concluded that people who talk on their mobile for 30 minutes a day for 10 yrs were more prone to brain cancer. The study shows that risk of the disease is 25 percent more than the previous studies showed.

An electronic engineer Lloyd Morgan said that the risk associated with constant usage of mobile is grossly underestimated.

Morgan also said that if people were not warned against the usage of mobile phones then in future its going to be large population of people suffering from brain cancer. He said that people should be encouraged to change their present behaviors with regard to cell phones.

He further said that government should take immediate step to educate the citizens regarding the spread of brain tumor.

Morgan said that people should be aware that cell phones are harmful for them and they should keep cell phones away from their head and body at all times.

Morgan denies all the previous studies conducted in this regard which shows that cell phone is not related to the increase risk of meningiomas and glioma- two types of brain cancer. Rather he gathered few evidence which shows that people who use cell phone regularly are at higher risk of brain cancer, nearly 24 % more risk than before.

Ed Yong, head of health information at Cancer Research UK, said that although use of cell phones are increasing at a higher speed but brain cancer is not increasing in the same proportion so according to him warnings of brain cancer pandemic are exaggerated. He said that still there is no good explanation to show a link between brain cancer and cell phone usage.
