GTS Central Europe (GTS) has informed that it is going to acquire Interware Zrt. Interware is a Hungary-based leading data center services provider. However, the financial aspects of the deal were not disclosed yet. This deal has received the local Competition Office approval and is likely to be closed by third quarter of the financial year 2010-11.

Inrerware is one of the leading service providers in the field of hosting, collocation, internet and fixed voice services. Its primary clients are the business customers. Interware has two data centers in Budapest with a collection space over1, 075 net square meters. Moreover, it is now hosting around 3,300 customer servers for this end. GTS has also purchased Datek which was its latest acquisition before Interware. Datek was the firm from Romania.

CEO at GTS Central Europe, Mr. Adam Sawicki has informed that the acquisition will help GTS to improve its telecommunications operation in this part of the world. The company can develop itself as major player in the CEE data center market soon. The Interware data centers will help the company to provide its customers additional secure collocation space with enhanced capabilities.
