At a convenience store in Saskatoon, a clerk was attacked by a thief, during a robbery. The city police have said that three robbers were involved in the conspiracy and they were armed with knives and a crow bar.
A male employee of the store was assaulted with a sharp edged weapon by one of the suspects and the incident took place at around 6:50 a. m. A male customer and a female employee, who are the main eyewitness of the robbery, were not harmed.
It has been reported that the suspects ran away after robbing a small amount of cash from the store. All three of the men involved in the plot are identified as natives.
One of them was wearing black pants and black shoes with bright blue laces and had a brown scarf to cover his face. The second suspect also had scarf on his face and wore black pants and a black Adidas shirt with white stripes on each shoulder.
The face of the third suspect was uncovered and he was wearing black pants with a lighter black or grey shirt.
"The male employee was assaulted. And just to confirm that the weapons that they brought into the store were not used in the assault," said Stonehouse.
