Energy Island is to create jobs in Anglesey

Carwyn-JonesAnglesey Island is to be made as an "energy island" soon. This will be done by a project from the government in near future. This project will attract millions of pounds from the investors and can create thousands of jobs for the people of this island. Minister Carwyn Jones will launch the project to project the island as a renewable energy generation hub.

Also the wealth of natural resources, skills base and the location will be unveiled on that period of time. This will be a great example of how the wind, biomass and tidal energy could be implemented and can be used for the betterment of human being.

It has been expected that the project will generate revenue of 2.3 billion Euros for that region in coming 15 years.

The Energy Island program will be focused on creating high skilled jobs and to attract people for major energy investments. Actually they want to establish a world renowned center for excellence. This project would include offshore wind farms by RWE and Centrica and power station at Wylfa.
