Hamilton printing Companies are reported to have returned after been honored with three category awards and the supreme award at Friday night's Pride In Print Awards.
The Company was honored with an award for a metal baby food can it produced for Nutricia Karicare Gold Plus, a pack that has been a hit among the international buyers.
Fonterra Canpac, which landed in troubling waters as its operations were stagnated following a fire earlier this year, won the supreme award for printing on the metal Nutricia Karicare Gold Plus 1 can.
Print plant Manager, Greg Wardrop expressed his happiness over the award, posting, "The fire closed down our production and was a very hard blow to take. This win will help us rebuilt that department and come back stronger".
The Nutricia Karicare was highly expected to witness a win in the packaging category.
Screen Printing Solutions brought an award for specialty products with a three-dimensional T-shirt flaunting a three-dimensional boot, complete with laces, using puffed ink.
The Pride in print Awards were convened at SkyCity Convention Centre on Friday 18 June with its TV broadcasting partners as John Campbell and Carol Hirschfeld as the MCs.
