According to the well placed sources it has been observed that O2 corporate customers are being transferred to a company called Azzurri Communications which became an O2 strategic partner (aka 3rd party B2B dealer) in January 2010.
This Telefonica-owned company seemingly has extended his remittance as the deal spoke of Azzurri managing only directly acquired O2 customers.
It was from a corporate O2 customer we came to know that when he tried to get PAC codes for handsets that his company handled, he was asked to shell out several hundreds pounds to get out of the said contract.
As a matter of fact none amongst the company had signed anything in relation to a renewed O2 contract, clearly indicating that the details were passed onto Azzurri Communications without prior agreement with the customers.
A similar happening out of O2 forums stated by "BenjaminBowles" adds that Azzurri had automatically renewed the contract he handles without prior permission, for another 24 months. If things continue in this manner we might see a migration of crowd to another carrier.
