The Bing Entertainment page lists all the new features that Microsoft has recently added to its Bing search engine, in an attempt to entice more Internet users to the site.
The new features, most of which are now going live, will give the Bing users the added advantage of streaming music, watching videos, and playing games - all within the site's domain. These features are a clear indication that Microsoft is putting its plans in place to make Bing a leading entertainment site.
Taking a page from Google for streaming music, Bing now allows users to stream over 5 million tracks directly from the browser. Moreover, it also lists concerts and music-related news on top of the regular list of search results.
With some of the new features likely to go live during the next couple of weeks, local TV listings may also become one of the new changes that Microsoft has introduced to give Bing a boost. Already, the search for certain TV shows on Bing unfolds for the users links to full episodes.
Along with local TV listings, Microsoft has also added theater listings and other information for users planning a movie night; however, the film listings are notably absent for the present.
For gamers, the new changes will offer a helping hand in case they search for particular game titles in Microsoft's online gaming portal.
