BA’s Unite union has to vote members because of deadlock condition

BA’s Unite union has to vote members because of deadlock conditionThe Unite union has said that if no further action is taken for a solution of the ongoing problem in between Tuesday, then the cabin crew of British Airways will be balloted.

The cabin crew members have done twenty-two days of strike in this year and the removal of travel concessions from the striking employees is the new dispute included in that strike.

The recent talks between the Unite union and the BA have failed to produce any result and break the deadlock condition.

On the other hand, BA has described this strike of the Unite union as a selfish act and told they have no concern for their own colleagues and for the customers of the BA.

The Unite union has said that by 29th June BA has to demonstrate whether it is ready for any negotiation to the new disputes between the two parties or will ballot the members for the strike act. The three issues under the dispute are the use of other employees to cover as cabin crew from BA, removal of the travel concession from the striking members and unnecessary actions taken against some cabin crew members by BA.
