It has been reported that the survey conducted by the J. D. Power and Associates showed that the Lexus’s position in the market, has dropped significantly.

On the other hand, Porsche stood first followed by Honda’s Acura and Mercedes-Benz. Mercedes, which stood ninth during the last year survey, has also left behind Lexus, this year.

A spokesperson from Mercedes informed that they are now focusing towards gaining the first position in the next year’s survey.

The Company is conducting the survey from the past 24 years and since 21 years, Lexus was always above Mercedes. But this year, the tables have turned for both Lexus, as well as, Mercedes.

It has been noticed that Mercedes’ new Chief Executive has completely transformed the status of the Company in the past few years. The Company has been considered as one of the major luxury brands of the world.

They have revamped their associations with their brokers and the manufacturing, production and transportation of different parts has also been improved.

David Sargent, Vice President of J. D. Power said, “Lexus fell because others just got better”.

From the past few years, Mercedes Benz has manufactured improved, modern and classy models of cars. Mercedes C-class and E-class are classic examples of the same.

Now, the Company is set to put its newly overhauled M-class, bulletproof model on sale. On the other hand, Lexus has very few models, as compared to Mercedes Benz.
