During an appearance on British talk show, Katy Perry referred to Russell Brand as her husband. The U.S. actor and British comedian got engaged last year. The plans of their wedding have never been revealed by the couple.
Perry, while talking to the host, Graham Norton said that she is happy with Russell and his presence makes her feel happy, that’s why she married him. This statement of Perry has raised the speculations that the couple has got married, secretly.
However, as soon as audience noticed this statement, she corrected herself by saying that she would be marrying Russell soon.
Earlier, also in the show Katy had referred to Russell’s mother Barbara as her mother- in- law.
Russell is known as a womanizer. He had said in an interview that meeting Katy was one of the most wonderful things that ever happened to him.
"I got really nervous on our first date - which never happens, so I knew I was either suffering from food poisoning or falling in love”, he told The Daily Mirror. He said that on their first date he was not able to speak.
According to Russell, Katy is on very good terms with his mother and that she is a very down to earth person.
