SmartPay, which is New Zealand’s leading commercial services provider, announced that it will also be offering prepaid recharge for mobile phone service 2degrees. The Company already offers mobile recharge for the Telecom and Vodafone networks.
The growing user base and popularity of 2degrees lead to it being added to SmartPay’s growing network of merchants and vendors. 2degrees is the third mobile phone service provider in New Zealand.
SmartPay stressed that it was becoming more and more common for people to have more than one mobile phone. It feels that it will be able to generate additional revenue by adding 2degrees to its list of vendors. It will also help the customers of 2degrees as they will be able to get better service and more recharge options.
It will ensure that SmartPay will not miss any opportunities and it will be serving all the mobile phone customers in the New Zealand market. It will also benefit all the people, who are currently using the services of SmartPay across the country.
SmartPay hopes to generate almost an additional $10 million with this step after taking all the expenses into account. The Company is looking at all the new possibilities to expand its business in the market.
In the coming days, 2degrees mobile top-ups will be available to all the SmartPay Cadmus prepaid merchants.
