Organizer of Glastonbury festival hoping for the return of U2

The organizer of the Glastonbury festival Michael Eavis has said that he is anticipating that U2 band will return to the festival. Earlier this band had declared that it will not participate in the event in this year. The band was forced to withdraw from the event as Bono had injured his back. The guitarist Edge was also absent in the last performance with Muse.

According to Mr. Eavis, the band may decide to play in this event at last. The festival is now celebrating its 40th anniversary and the organizer Mr. Eavis runs the event at his Somerset diary firm. He has said that he really feels so great to be the organizer of such a grand event. He has announced that he had selected three really good headliners for next year but did not unveil the names. When he was asked about the return of the U2 in future, he has replied that discussions are on with them for next year and he is hoping that U2 may return to the show soon.
