Women above 50 not concerned over savings on pension

According to the Scottish Widows Pensions Report, less than the average number of people above the age of 30 is indulged in setting aside a portion from the hard earned money for their pension, but now for the first time since
2006 the level seems to dwindle in numbers.

The comparative study conducted depicts that only 48 per cent are saving enough for the coming times, but the figure for the same seems to be dwindling from 54 per cent since year. Amidst all this the 21 per cent of people who should indulge themselves in the habit of saving for their pension is not concerned and putting nothing aside.

During the recessionary period, the savings track went on a low note and recorded for low rates of savings and created a volatility churn in the stock market, defined gravity pull for many people to become hopeless regarding the saving plans into a pension scheme. Amongst the one who had lost their hopes and enthusiasm for saving and putting aside for the pension are the women over the age of 50. Further the report depicted that 52 per cent in the same age group were saving enough till last year, but the figures seems to be dwindle to 38 per cent this year.
