Approximately £45m shall be shelled out on crafting more than 800 low-cost homes, and a different project that plans to open a nationwide debate on the future of housing policy.
The money paves in through the bolstering effects from the UK budget, which is total of £31m, and £14m from the ongoing housing investment program.
Altogether the new funding shall bring in the program for the year 2010-2011 to £502m, inspired to convey more than 7100 homes for the renting and ownership purpose.
According to the Housing Minister Alex Neil who has unveiled the plan in Ayr, expressed that it would kindle the housing industry and calm down the homelessness.
