Obese Kiwi Women Get More Sexual Partners

Obese Kiwi Women Get More Sexual PartnersMany Kiwi women have criticized a recent international study that says that overweight women get a fewer sexual partners as compared to their thinner counterparts.

The study was published in the British Medical Journal (BMJ), last month. The researchers interviewed around 12,000 French people. The results depicted that obese women have 30% less chances as compared to ‘normal’-weight women to have a sexual partner.

But, a 31-year-old woman from Wellington, Paula (name changed), said that the research is in conflict with her experience and also with that of her other obese friends. Paula had undergone a gastric bypass operation in April
2009 after having obesity in many years.

Once her weight had reached to 169kg while presently she weighs 65kg. However, she agrees with the fact that there are many unlikeable aspects of being overweight but lack of sex was not included in those. Actually being obese had a contradictory effect.

Stuff. co. nz quoted her as saying that in her early twenties she slept with more people. She further added that a lot of people admitted that having sex with an overweight girl is great.

Another woman from Auckland, Poppy Johnson, 42, said that she has the same opinion as Paula.
