A recent study has revealed that for giving job ads companies take more help of Internet portals than newspapers.
The Internet has touched every sphere of a man’s life. It is becoming an important part of every person’s life in this fast pace world. Not only this, people nowadays prefer the Internet to newspapers to get latest news updates about the latest happenings around.
From current issues to share markets to Hollywood, any kind of information can be taken from the Internet by just one click. The growth of Internet is like a major hit to the newspapers.
It has changed public preferences. Earlier, the job seekers used to check classifieds in the newspapers for a getting job. But now, they don’t prefer it. In its place, they use job advertising websites for seeking jobs prefer internet to get latest news about everything.
An inquiry conducted by the market researchers showed that the market for Internet jobs has expanded over the past few years. On the other hand, newspapers like News Ltd, APN have lacked behind in attracting job seekers to find suitable jobs for them.
The study also revealed that the increase in Internet jobs was 5% for the month of May and a further increase of 3% was recorded by them for the month of June.
However, newspaper ads recorded a fall of 1.6% during the month of June.
