The Scottish Government has decided to stand on crafting out the homes for the next year with approximately £30 million of endowment, the announcement made by Alex Salmond. Also an added £90 million shall be entailed in funding that shall come from the individual local authorities, according to the Government.
However, the Housing Bill which is currently being discussed upon in the Scottish Parliament and all the new housing stock shall be exempted from the right to buy.
According to Mr. Salmond the Scottish Government's financial obligation to the method, which approximates £80 million, symbolizing the first central government support of new council houses in the three decades and shall influence more than £300 million speculation by the local authorities.
The concerned are also legislating to save all new the social housing by discharging it from the right to buy proposal that has detached much of the social housing stock since the 1980s.
