HP Labs India has come up with a new concept of cloud-based platform, SiteonMobile, aimed to offer an easy reach to content and web-based transactions.
According to the reports of PC World the technology was initially proffered in 2008 and aimed to break web services down in to small tasks which later could be initiated by the aid of pushing a mere button.
Sudhir Dixit, the director of HP Labs India, said that this step aids in easing out the task as one can now have a single cloud-based application called as TaskLet, which will involve a series of steps required to complete a web task integrated into one.
Developers will be able to come up with various forms and versions of TaskLet in case of number of web-based services, involving hotel reservations or booking air tickets.
At the same instant he further added that mobile phone subscribers can receive particular information or complete a web transaction by sending a text message or a calling a number that helps initiate an interactive voice response (IVR) system or SMS server in the HP Labs cloud.
