Health experts feel that a different approach towards Alzheimer’s treatment can significantly help people suffering from this disease. They are claiming that if they can catch symptoms of Alzheimer’s early, they can help prevent a lot of damage that is often irreversible.
This can help millions of people across the world who have Alzheimer’s disease.
Researchers are stressing that using simple ways like measuring few proteins in spinal cord and using brain scans to detect a protein called amyloid that can result in developing plaque in the brains of people suffering from Alzheimer’s.
If a doctor can detect some of these symptoms early, they can significantly help a patient who is afflicted with this disease and can ensure that some of the patients are able to significantly improve their quality of life.
Experts at the Alzheimer's Association International Conference also agreed that it is very important to categorize people who show early signs for Alzheimer’s. They also agreed that these people should be placed in a category called pre-clinical.
Many people, who otherwise appear very healthy, may be suffering from serious cognitive deterioration and this can be known only with the help of some early tests.
Even though none of these tests are fool-proof, they can still prove very helpful in early detection of Alzheimer’s disease.
