According to the report, the car production in UK has risen sharply by 28.6% as compared to the same month in the previous year. As per the figures of the Society of Motor Manufacturer and Traders (SMMT), in total 118,000 cars were made in the month.
It has been the consecutive eighth month growth in the car production but a little bit slower rate than the rise of 54% in May.
The chief executive of SMMT, Mr. Paul Everitt has said that, the increased investment in new technology and products has helped the sector to grow. According to the figures published early in this month the new car sales in UK rose by 10.8% in June compared to the same month of previous year.
SMMT has also said that the rise includes the production of both the engine production as well as commercial vehicles. But at the same time the SMMT has warned about uncertainty of the car sales and production in the upcoming months because of the unstable economic recovery in the world market. Analysts also expect a minor fall in the production in the next couple of months.
