Microsoft must be in an elated mood it has come up with the latest quarterly earnings and supposedly is considered to be the best quarterly results ever produced.
The so proclaimed results are mainly due to a strong sale figure of the Windows 7 operating system. This figure boasts of selling close to 175 million licenses of Window 7, thus creating a record sale of highest ever selling operating system in the company's history.
In addition to this, consumers and especially corporations have launched their purchases of Microsoft software. Microsoft has reported of revenue which nears to $16.04 billion a figure reflecting 22 percent growth. This compared to the early results stated that Apple has witnessed revenue of $15.7 billion.
The company has posted a net offering of $4.52 billion, a 33 percent jump year-on-year.
It was further seen that increase in aggregate sales soared to $4.55 billion from $3.17 billion also sales of Office and other software rose to $5.25 billion from $4.57 billion.
