Commercial vehicle maker Eicher Motors has announced its June quarter financial results for the fiscal year 2010-11.

According to the company, it has registered a significant three fold net profit rise in the quarter under review.

Eicher Motors has posted a net profit of Rs 55.18 crore for the quarter that ended in 30th June, 2010 which is almost three times of the net profit figure of the similar quarter in the last fiscal.

The company has registered a net profit of Rs 19.79 crore in the same quarter in the previous year.

The company has informed this in a filing at the Bombay Stock Exchange. The net sales of the company have touched Rs 1,032.86 crore during the June quarter of the current fiscal which was Rs 617.48 crore for the same quarter in the preceding year.

There has been a hike of 67.27% in the net sales of the company. In the first half of the year, the net sales have been reported to be Rs 2,070.37 crore for Eicher Motors.
